Why for lovers?

Almonds are considered one of the aphrodisiacs along with a few other nuts. There is speculation that a diet rich in these nuts may be beneficial for testosterone production and for enhancing desire in both women and men. It is suggested that omega 3, magnesium, and antioxidants in nuts in general could be a factor.

Besides almonds, the ingredients that make this blend irresistible are apple pieces that contribute mild fruity notes, as well as cinnamon, ginger and vanilla that give it spiciness.

The base of this blend is black tea, making it ideal for the morning.

Black tea (also known as red tea in Asia) comes from a plant called Camellia sinensis, just like green, white and other “true teas”. But unlike the mentioned teas, it has gone through a longer oxidation process and slightly different processing. Black tea is also generally stronger, both in taste and caffeine content.

Two “varieties” of camellia are used for black tea production. The Chinese variety has smaller leaves (Camellia sinensis var. sinensis). It is also used for the production of other teas, while the second variety with larger leaves (Camellia sinensis var. assamica) is traditionally used mostly for black tea.
